Where did you get the scrivets and what was the part number?

How did you remove the tabs on the ends? It looks much better without them.

They are attached with a few simple bolts - 8 mm head if I recall correctly.

C7Jake... your car looks absolutely gorgeous. Quick question: Does the color/finish of the OEM splitter closely match the color/finish of the ACS rockers? They appear to match well in the photos. I believe ACS offers the rockers in three finish options: carbon flash, satin black and primer. Which option did you choose? Thanks!

Thanks! I like the flow of this splitter a lot, but I want mine in CF. It is very similar to the LG Motorsports cf splitter, but the forward most tip doesn't stick out as much. I've worked with a local shop that can wrap it in real cf composite and seal it with a clear coat. IMO it would nicer than the current CF splitters available and probably half the price. I am think I am going to go that route.

Default OEM non Z06 side skirts/rockers

The OEM side skirts/ rockers to match this splitter will be available. They are standard on the Atlantic and Pacific editions. They will fit Non Z06 stingrays. They will be much more affordable than the CF or FG aftermarket skirts.

I know you used 4 plastic scrivets for the splitter. How many did you use total on the ACS side skirts?

Your C7 is looking good!

What's up with this front splitter availability? Are they trickling in like the Z06 grilles or are they not currently available, period?

C7Jake did a great job on his car, and has provided allot of valuable information to C7 owners with this thread.

Keep in mind these front splitters can be painted to match the body color of the car. Any bodyshop can do it, or you can DIY, buying the matching body color with paint from Automotive Touch Up. They sell both pints and quarts. They also sell the clear coat.

Keep in mind that these front splitters can also be Hydrographic Water Transfer printed in many types of carbon fiber design.

I see many vendors who sell aftermarket parts, using the Hydrographic Water transfer process and selling the parts for high dollar, taking advantage of C7 owners.

Much of the stuff you see from outside vendors for Corvette parts being painted or Hydro Water Transfer in CF designs you can do yourself and save literally hundreds of dollars.

Because the C7 is such a "hot" car and many owners are doing some basic mods, like the front splitter, side rockers and inside the engine plastic covers are charging very high prices for items and materials that any novice can get done and save a allot of $$$$$$.

DIY options are many, and you can achieve the same results for much less $$$$.

Here's a few photos of my Jaguar Engine cover that I had Hydrographic printed in Silver Carbon Fiber for a whopping $180.00

I ordered the splitter and the order appeared to go through but a day or so later I got an email saying the part was unavailable and that my order was cancelled. I guess I'll wait on this. Thanks for the info Jake.

AutomotiveTouchup.com has 12oz Chevy Carbon flash spray, high gloss clear & adhesion promoter for $36. I have not received my splitter yet but think rattle can would be fine given not much shows and is very low should work out fine and match other carbon flash

Not impressed with the Z06 rear spoiler, stage 2/3 splitter/ winglets or front fender flares.
