Now I could be completely wrong here but that diagram appears to be for the stage 2/3 front spoiler and not the stage one. If you look close, you'll notice that the ends have screws as to change out the sides from stage 2 to stage 3. And if I'm correct, it would make sense as the stage 2/3 spoiler would need more metal rivets up front due to the added stress of down force cause by the upgraded spoiler. If I'm way off then forget I even said something. I feel that C7jake is spot on with just needing the four extra.
yes>I use 3/4" thick rubber tire pads in winter.

A C7Jake said, this is an addition that every Stingray should have.
On my car, there is still 6 inches of clearance on the front edge, so should be good for the street.
I used the plastic rivets on the 4 center holes since there was no access to the back side of the bumper cover there, but on the 6 outside holes on the leading edge I used the same screws as used on the bumper cover with a flat washer and clip nut. You can easily reach through the brace to the inside of the bumper cover to attach the nut.

Do the existing screws bolt back in without the bolts falling out ? I just orderd the splitter ,bought a close quarter drill,3/16 stubby drill bit, and a hand riveter. Not going to jack it up or put it on a ramp because I don't have one.Thanks.Just trying to cover all the bases.

I used the same u-nuts for the extra holes also, except for the two center holes that are not accessible from inside the bumper cover..

Is it number 15 & 23?
I am looking on GM Parts direct front bumper schematic.
Thanks.

Go Canes!
2 year old thread!!! The splitter is actually a GM original part (you might as well add the Z grille at the same time. The side skirts can be bought at a myriad of different vendors here. RPI, wcc, and others.
