I always wave! Got a wave from an AW C5 yesterday on my way home from Target. I am happily taken, but still like to share the Corvette enthusiasm with other drivers!

While driving my C7 NRB vert with top down, I always wave at other Vette drivers.

Lots of C6 & earlier models drivers either don't wave back or give me a snarky face like I'm showing off or think I'm better than them...

LOL see I have to say the fact that you said "you're happily taken" shows how women think. No one is trying to pick you up by waving because you own the same car. You could be a 300lbs guy with a huge beard and they would still wave

After I got my first C5 Vert, I was out for a nice evening drive with my wife when we approached a four-way stop sign intersection. On the opposite side was a Torch Red C5 vert with a pretty lady at the wheel. When we passed each other she gave me a nice smile and Corvette waive which I returned. My wife, unfamiliar at the time with this Corvette tradition, gave me a cold stare and asked "Who was that?!" 😠

I would guess this might be creepy for a young woman who has no idea what the wave is.
She buys a new sports car and all of a sudden a bunch of old geezers start waving to her.
