Good luck with that, maybe you could commiserate with the bride from Baltimore.

The Hertz idea is a good one, BTW.

Asking to tryout a man's Corvette is kind of like asking to tryout his wife.

I am 62 going on 63, I am looking for someone to let me drive their Ferrari, Lamborghini, or McLaren. If anybody knows of anyone, please let me know. Have it delivered to New Mexico, where I can have my joy ride on one of our isolated backroads. Oh yes, the car must have paddle shifters for me to enjoy.

wmartin94 you must really be kidding. Take the advice to rent one and get your parents to rent a Corvette C7 like the OP stated. That's a great idea.

Or better yet, watch the commercial that Jeff Gordon did for the Camaro. Go to your local dealer and test the car that way. If you haven't seen the video, here it is......

Good luck in your quest to find someone who is willing to turn over their beautiful Corvette C7 for you to take on a joy ride.

Do you work for a valet service?

Maybe I'm kind of ok with all this - when my ZR1 was brand new, may three daughters and their husbands all got a crack at it.

And one of my racing buddies with his 575hp GT3.3 (the .3 was for the mods) let me drive his. I of course reciprocated - also a few years back.

It's only a car.

If you lived in No. Virginia I would let you drive mine. Maybe some one in Houston will let you.

Never let anyone drive your 400+ horsepower car that spells cool with a K.

"If wishes were horsepower, beggars would be driving my Corvette" just doesn't sound right.

wmartin94...Just so you have an idea why people are basically saying your request is nuts. Please watch this video on YouTube and you'll see how quickly the Corvette can get away from an "experienced driver".
