Default C7 saves its driver in double-fatal head-on crash

Two women in a Chevy Impala fleeing police crossed the centerline and hit a C7 head on. Both women killed, C7 driver critical. Say a prayer. :sad angel:

Is blood and gore what we really need on this forum? A police forum might be a better place. Don

or....or....he just wanted people to say a prayer for a fellow Corvette owner who was injured while doing nothing but enjoying his car......just a thought.

Exactly. He might even be a member of this forum, who knows. One thing's for sure, he and his family are having a pretty tough Christmas.

It's also a testament to the C7's crash worthiness that its occupant survived a head-on collision that killed both people in the other car.

It's Corvette related and appropriate for this forum, if it bothers you don't read it.

the corvette community is a family. The guy driving the vette was going about his business when the other car, being chased by police hit the C7. And this is not worthy of posting here??

Vettes since at least the C5 can take a pretty good hit in the front and people walk away. I did when I T-bone a semi in my C5 going 55MPH. Totaled the car but I walked away with just a torn rotator cuff - that I finally had fixed a week ago. There are a lot of other examples that have been published.

Good luck to the innocent party here. Not so much to the other driver.

It's a shame, prayers to him and his family. Going to be a tough Christmas, a time when family's are brought together. Such a shame that this family is brought together by tragedy. Lets all wish him fast recovery!

Doesn’t really “bother” me, just thought it wasn’t the best thing for this particular part of the forum.

As I said, those that had a different take on it have a point. Don
