You cannot order EYK. It is what is known as a Reference Only RPO code. It cannot be ordered - it comes standard or as part of another option. EYK is standard, and it simply means that your external badges (Cross-Flags, Stingray emblems, etc. are chrome trimmed as opposed to the carbon flash trimmed which is option RPO EYT.

5YN is an orderable option. It is a variation of the trim badge near the bottom of the center stack:

5YN LPO, Chrome interior trim badge with Stingray logo, Genuine Corvette Accessory
1 - Not available with (BV4) personalized plaque or (R8C) Corvette Museum Delivery.

Actually, it's my understanding that EYK can be ordered on a Z06 since EYT (Carbon Flash badging) is what comes standard.

That is correct. It is an orderable option on the Z06. OP didn't say, and since this is not the Z06 section I assumed it was not a Z06.

OK, here's some food for thought: We know that chrome badging is standard on the Stingray and that Carbon Flash badging is a $100 option. I haven't checked pricing, but I'm betting that even though Carbon Flash badging is standard on the Z06 chrome badging is a $100 option! Whaddya think?

Wait, isnt it as simple as the converse of the C7?

Carbon flash badges are std on the z06, so chrome badges are a $100 option.

My guess....

That's precisely my point. We don't get charged more because they cost more, we get charged more because they're different.

just be happy its only a $100 option... Most of us would buy aftermarket for more $$ to get those items. GM could easily have made them $2,3,400 options and some of us would still buy them....
