Default Who is heading to Barrett-Jackson?

Always head to Scottsdale for the big auction which is only a couple weeks away. Got to see Chevy launch the '14 C7 there and met the corvette team and Rick Hendricks. Wondering how many of us owners and vendors will be down there. This is a great event and it would be fun to get a lot of owners together and take over the Whiskey Row bar for a beverage or two.

My son & I will be there for the 6th year. We plan to attend RM, Bonhams,, and Gooding as well since we'll be there the entire week. Probably at B-J most of Thursday & Saturday as I'm trying to plan around some of the cars I want to see at the other venues.

Please report back on how the vettes do, and not just the high sellers!!!

I usually go on Monday to avoid the huge crowds. I just go to look at the cars and the rest of the circus and get a ride in a Bondorant Corvette.

I normally record the auction although it looks like I might not be able to get all of it this year based on their new channels.

Probably not taking the Vette cause the parking can be a little iffy.

I would like to put out an invitation to meet up on Thursday at 1 at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row. This is an open air bar/restaurant on site that makes for a great meeting spot / watering hole. Would be nice to meet up and talk Corvettes. Last year saw some incredible prices and was truly the year of the vette. Living in Montana it is always great to get away this time of year to some where warm. Reply back if you are in and we will find a way to make this happen.

I never drive one of my vettes to there, we usually take one of my sons trucks and no worry about how bad the parking normally is most of the time.

The auction is only a little over a couple of hours from my home in Tucson and my son and I also usually go on Monday to see all the cars before they start to go across the block and then watch the actual auction on TV.

Some pretty interesting one of a kind vettes to be seen there like this GM concept 1958 corvette retractable hardtop that GM built back then, we got to see it before it was auctioned off back in 2005:

Let's try to meet up by the bar/food order area at Whiskey Row, it will be crowded. Hopefully everyone will have some type of Corvette apparel that will be a dead giveaway of who we are.

I live about 15 minutes from Westworld where B-J is being held. I'll try to make the meet on Thursday. I don't really own any Corvette paraphernalia, but I should be able to spot the group.

Default Monday

Going on Monday. I never take the Vette because of the dirt parking lots.

Do you have the Velocity channel? That's where I'm recording all the episodes.

It's on Discovery channel - part 1, and Velocity channel - part 2, etc. starting Tuesday. It's going back and forth on both - not simultaneously.
