Default How to remove mirrors

Due to an error in the ordering process my mirrors were not delivered in carbon. Before I get the car wrapped in pain protection I need to get the mirrors painted does anyone know how to remove them I've got the door panels off and I can't seem to find access to the mirrors. I removed the little rubber piece found two small holes but still no way to access the mirrors any thoughts?

After reading the posting on how to remove the rear carpet to access the fuse box I'm sure that it has to be a simple process. NOT! Hopefully there is a engineer on here that can help you out. See if they will make it a sticky when you are done in the DIY section. I'm sure someone will need the information eventually. Good luck with your project.

My order had the carbon flash mirrors and spoilers option but somehow it was removed when the order was sent to the factory. I am going to see how much a local dealer wants to paint them once I get my car.

I want to hear more about this pain protection.
