Default Winter WTF? Corvettes Buried in Snow

Winter isn't coming, it’s freaking here! And that means everyone starts to store their lovely Corvettes in nice, warm garages. Or at least some do.

Drove my heavily modded 2010 Camaro SS through winter (including snow) and have driven my 2012 Grand Sport through snow. Had it out here in Chicago just last weekend.

Default what winter

Can't resist rubbing it in but I live in Florida, so I will be dropping the top and letting those horses run on our nice flat Florida country roads ( don't feel too bad though. In the summer the heat rises up from the road and motor)

I'll be doing the same in the LA area later this afternoon. Love my C7 vert.

The car won't melt and lots of people do drive their Vettes all year round regardless of the weather.

My Corvette isn't buried in the snow, but it might as well be. It's covered with flannel at the moment. I don't have to store it, but prefer to.

I don't see very many corvettes during this time of the year in Chicago, Illinois. Maybe one a month. But mine is up in the garage.

Back in the 60's I lived in Iowa and drove my 65, and later,66, in the snow all winter. Sometimes it was a little precarious but I was young and dumb. Got smart and moved to Texas in the mid 70's. Day I moved to Dallas, March 3 1975' it was 75 and in Iowa it was 27 and snowing. They ended up with 24" of white stuff and I played golf.
Snow looks pretty on post cards, just like sunny beaches and palm trees...but hard to skinny dip in the frozen lakes.
