Default Origin of Unknown Beep

Driving my C7 cpe yesterday, for about an hour, I would hear a single beep at precisely 5 minute intervals. After I had turned car off , & then
restarted to drive home ,the beep was gone. There were no codes & no messages.

Serious answers only, please.

Was it cold out when you were driving? Maybe it was the possible ice warning that flashes up when the outside temperature nears freezing.

Yes, it was just above freezing. Does the ice warning appear on any of the displays?

Yes, on the dash where the other warnings, texts etc. appear. But it would happen only once, right away, and it doesn't beep.

I'm sure you've thought of this? Seat belt?

In my C6 my knee would bump the seat selector, took me a couple of months to figure it out. Although haven't had that issue on the C7.
