Just spoke with the carbon shop. They have been backed up on other projects, but this the only project being worked on right now. The 1st carbon fiber Z06 stage 1 splitter (mine ) will be available by the end of this week. I'll post pictures as soon as it is done.
Do you know what material they used for the wrap. My local wrap guy does not have a gloss carbon fiber wrap. Did they over wrap a 3M material or use/do something else?

They used real carbon fiber composite and finished it with a few clear coats.
It will be inline with other carbon fiber splitters, but I will post the price as soon as I have the final number. They also mentioned doing a group buy if there is enough interest.
The mold will be done today. They are going to make the 1st splitter out of fiberglass so they can do any necessary trimming and test fit it on my car on Friday. Once it has been test fitted and everything fits perfect they will make one out of carbon fiber.
Yes they make the kits for Lashway but I don't like any of the front splitters on the market that follow the contour of the bumper fangs. I want an OEM Z06 stage 1 splitter in real carbon fiber. G3 carbon is bringing it to market.
The stage 1 Splitter is the best looking one for a C7 imo. I too really dislike the ones that follow the fangs. With that being said, I'd really like to see one done in carbon flash. I was gonna attempt it on mine, but didn't wanna do any irreversible damage, considering how hard they are to get.
I'd like side skirts to match. The black plastic is fine for me and they are pretty durable. If they get damaged they are cheap to replace.
First fiberglass piece is a success. They're trimming it now. The painter is out today. As soon as it is ready, I'll head over there and get it fitted on the car then post pics.
Here are some pictures of the carbon flash painted fiber glass Z06 stage 1 splitter. I am going to try to make it to the shop this afternoon for a test fit. Once they confirm fitment is perfect they will start making the 1st carbon fiber stage 1 splitter which will be mine. . The cf version should be done next week maybe Wednesday.
I should have pricing info later today. Full disclosure I am in no way affiliated with G3 Carbon other than being a paying customer. I will not make any profit on the sale of these splitters or the Z06 side skirts they are going to make. I simply wanted a carbon fiber stage 1 splitter. They wrapped some of the parts on my previous car so I bought an OEM Z06 stage 1 splitter and take it to them to get wrapped. Instead of wrapping it they used it to make a mold so they can bring it to market since this splitter is very popular.
