Default C7 Shoulder Belt Pad

Can anyone advise if someone makes a "C7", not C6, Shoulder belt pad with the C7 logo oI it. All I can find is C6 when you type in C7.

Why in the world would you want such a thing? Modern seat belts don’t put any pressure on the person. Don

Some owners slide them over the metal connecter, to keep them from rattling, when the belt is not being used.

Across the neck (assuming that's what you meant)?

It's not fitting you correctly; I'd hate to see what would happen to you in even a minor crash. Can you provide a pic of the fit?

Are you using the belt retainer loop on the seat back?

For people who are shorter (e.g. My wife is 4' 10" ); even if you use the belt clip on the seat, the belt still comes too high and rides against the neck of the person. The seat belt cover holds the belt our far enough so it does not do that. Plus they also keep the buckle from rattling against the seat when not in use.

That sounds extremely dangerous. I'd find some kind of booster to get her higher in the seat so the belt does not cross the neck. Also, is her seat raised as far as possible?

No, not dangerous. The seat belt pad changes the angle the belt comes across the front of her so that it comes over her shoulder and gets it away from her neck. And yes; she does use a cushion. The engineers that designed the seats were more focused on getting leg room than providing a wide range of adjustment.

Shoulder harnesses/belts sit right on top of my port and it can get painful. A pad eliminates the problem.

I received these from ebay a few months ago, $3.49 for the set plus S/H, they velcro on, and IMO, look great.

Yes, but that's not C7 script. It's C6, and that is what the OP wants to know. Are they available with C7 logo lettering?

starman; "Can anyone advise if someone makes a "C7", not C6, Shoulder belt pad with the C7 logo on it. All I can find is C6 when you type in C7."

My understanding is that he meant the C7 flag "logo/emblem," instead of the C6, and thought this generic Corvette belt holder would suffice, if not, I was mistaken.

That CORVETTE script is actually not generic. That is the script style from the C6. The C7 changed slightly the way the C, O, and R are joined. Hey, even GM got it wrong on the 2014 fuel gauge.

Turn the belt pad around so the offensive script is facing the seat.

You can get a solid black shoulder belt pad at Wal-Mart for around $5.

Our belts keep slipping out of the retainer (loop) guides, which is a pain to put back in when you're seated.
