My Kerbeck Experience
I wanted to post about my recent buying experience at Kerbeck's.....
A quick background. I was always a muscle car guy.
I have been thinking about buying a new Stingray for over a year but first had to sell my little sweetheart which I owned for a long time. Well, the SS went to a new owner in the Midwest last April and that opened the door for the Stingray.
I was ready to pull the trigger on a 2014 but when Chevrolet announced the DSO color for 2015, I decided to wait.
Fast forward to November when the first DSO's were coming out....I saw the paint up close and personal and just did not like it. I am glad I did not order sight unseen.
My close second color choice was Shark Gray.
I was working up my order when I decided to visit the "NEW" Kerbeck website. I must say, very cool.....a big upgrade from the previous one. I did a few searches and quickly realized that Kerbeck had a number of cars already in stock ( or inbound) that matched my criteria.
I live in southeast PA, a good 2.5 hour trip to Atlantic City. I was convinced buying a car "out of state" was not a good idea. But in my area of the woods, the Chevrolet dealers may only have 2 or 3 available. Their in stock Stingrays were nothing I wanted. Ordering was about my only local option but then there is that nasty "allocation cycle" to worry about.
I made a few phone calls and got hooked up with my Corvette specialist Amoni. We had numerous calls and emails back and forth as we narrowed down my choices to a few cars. A few words about Amoni. I have bought a lot of cars throughout my life, high end and otherwise. Amoni was the consummate professional, a true gentleman and just an overall nice guy with a passion for our cars.
My wife and I made the trip to Atlantic City last Tuesday, Amoni met us at the door with hot coffee, a handshake and a smile. He had a HOLD ticket on my first choice but insisted that we take some time and walk around the showroom to check out all the other colors, options and choices. There was over 30 Stingrays in the showroom and at least another 50 sitting "out back". My wife immediately focused on a white Z51 coupe with red interior. Thanks goodness Dave walked over and put a SOLD ticket on it, it was heading out to California. There were a lot of others we liked, finally we gravitated back to my first choice. For me, a perfect choice. The Kerbeck DISCOUNT sealed the deal.

We picked up our Stingray Saturday morning. We spent Friday night at Harrah's on the bayside. Amoni personally picked us up at the Casino's front door Saturday morning and within the hour, I was checking out my fully detailed Stingray and signing the mountain of paperwork. Amoni then took time to guide me thru the car......I will admit that I was a little overwhelmed with all the features. This ain't no '69 Camaro!
I was ready to hit the road, Amoni gave me a voucher for a full tank of Shell top tier fuel up the street. We made the ride back to PA on US 322. A perfect sunny day but cold. I never had an issue with the "summer only" tires even at 30 degrees. Most of the trip was two lane blacktop and no traffic. We had a late lunch in Exton and then did the last 26 miles on the PA turnpike. A perfect trip to get acquainted with my new Stingray. The Stingray was very easy to drive, it got a lot of attention. I am a bigger guy, the car was quite comfortable for me and my wife. The stock GT seats fit me fine.
I cannot say enough good things about Kerbeck's and my buying experience. Do not misunderstand; they are in the business to sell cars, a lot of cars, specifically Stingrays. However, everyone at the dealership, from the detail guy in the shop to Bill in finance treated me with respect and took time to make sure my buying experience was a good one. For me, I just turned 60 and this was most likely a "once in lifetime" event....a check off the bucket list so to speak. I am glad I chose Kerbeck's to make it all possible.

Great write up. I talked to Kerbeck too and really liked their service and pricing, but in the end decided they were just too far away from Scottsdale, AZ and instead ordered from a local dealer. Congrats and good luck with your new C7!

Melting Slicks
I bought Mine from Kerbeck sight unseen, did all the work on the phone with Dave Brown, all the paperwork via FedEx and email, had the car shipped, everything went perfect. Car had been picked up on a Saturday morning and at my doorstep Monday morning in perfect condition. The selection and the discount was a huge selling point for me. Local dealers offer zero discount, have no selection and barely gave me the time of day never mind a test drive or any review of the different models. I was extreamly pleased with the experience.
Other then yours being an auto it's pretty much my car BTW.
Obviously I love the SG too.

Among sold me mine...
Congrats on your sweet ride. And the Camaro is awesome. I saw a lot of 69 Camaro's sold at Barrett-Jackson last week for big bucks.
I also bought mine from Kerbeck last February and Amoni did a great job. The process was pretty straightforward and without pressure. Here's a picture of mine sitting in Kerbeck's lot prior to shipment to my door in Gilbert, AZ.

No doubt about it. Kerbeck rocks. When the new 2014 C7s first came out last year, I couldn't order one from any local dealers within a 150 mile radius of my home, and, I wasted a good 3 months trying to find a dealer who would accept my order(read had an allocation). One phone call to Kerbeck, they had just the car I wanted to order already built & in transit from Bowling Green, at $2,500.00 under MSRP. 10 days later, my new C7 showed up at Kerbeck's dealership, PDI was done, & vehicle loaded on a covered transport to my house. That was 14 months ago, and, I haven't had a single problem with my C7.
