At 66 my controlling days are long behind me now, just a lot of great memories working with a lot of great people. I guess everyone here has that Corvette ownership in their DNA along with all our aviation DNA!! There are quite a few Corvette owners at the FAA Aeronautical Center here in OKC where I work now. I just began seeing a Gray C7 coupe in the same parking lot I use. More to come, I'm sure...
Wow, I went through the altitude chamber at the FAA Aeronautical Center in OKC a few years back so that I could fly in a U.S. Army DHC-7 carrying one of our radar systems.

Yes, regrettably retired after 40 plus years. Never really had a real job.

Thanks to the both of you! I work at Bell Helicopter in the test facility, and we test each and every transmission and gearbox for both, military, and commercial helicopter we make. I'm very proud of our product and feel we still build the best there is in the rotorcraft world. I've got a few hours in 206 L4's snd 407's... Those are pretty fun to fly as well. I appreciate all our pilots on here for all they do fixed wing and rotorcraft, ATC too.

Default Lowly c-6 grand sport driver here

Had a commercial pilots license at 19 while still in college. Went on to fly corporate for fortune 1 and 5 companies as lead pilot.
Type ratings in Gulfstream II,IIb,III,IV,IVsp, Falcon 10,20,100 Citations rated in four thru 650
Retired from commercial flying with 12000 hrs all but 2000 in Jets. Flew with military and civilian pilots. At one time we had ex marine, navy, air force and civilian pilots which blended into the best group I ever got to work with.
Loved owning Comanche 260,Cessna 210, Baron 55,Twin Comanche.
Just some fun flying occasionally
Had six corvettes still own two Duntov 65 and 13 Grand Sport.
I knew there would be a lot of pilots that own Corvettes.

Guess I called it with my "More to come..." comment; parked 2 rows behind me today was this brand new Z06.

Private pilot, aircraft owner since 1985. Sad to see airplane ownership decline in my aviation community. The changing face of America leaves nothing untouched........
