We need to see some silver wheels. I hate black with a passion. It ruins any good wheel design.

I am looking into picking up a set of these.. So, today I looked into Mickey Thompson's Street Comp tires: Front tires - 255 40 19's (9.5" rims) and the Rear tires - 305 35 20's (11" rims). I understand the stock Z51 tire sizes are: Front tires - 235 35 19's Rear tires - 285 30 20's. Would that be a bad choice of sidewall height increases? Has the Mickey Thompson Street Comp tires been drag proven yet? How do they stack up against the sticky Michelin's or Toyo R888's? Is there a better tire combo for these rims?

Get some street friendly tires and also a pair of stickies for the strip on 18" rims. Only way to do it my friend.

Those sizes are way to tall and will rub. I would recommend using 18" or 19" wheels like TSW Nurburgring or Interlagos for Street Comp tires. For these wheels I would recommend something like Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

I really like these rims and I think 305's look very comfortable on that rear end. I ended up doing my taxes this past weekend and I'm not getting back as much as I had hoped.. Almost $2,000 less than I thought actually! ..there goes a good chunk of my rims and tires budget. I digress..
