This will most likely work its way into my car...wanted to get the stabilizer kit on before I started radiation therapy, as this is going to dig into my pocket book a bit.
You know, death and taxes...trying to avoid the first one. But it costs like taxes.

Lol!

Not sure if you saw my nitrous thread but I went 11.26 @ 128 in 91 degree nasty heat with the hundred shot, and that was on an easy launch spraying only after it shifted into second. I think with a fully warm bottle and cool air I can hit 10's with one mod.

Happy with my shifter. I've done the Blendmount and splash guards so far. Anyone done the sound proofing kit? That maybe my next mod. Z51 bars in the future plan as well. XPEL on the front bumper tomorrow.

Be neat to see a 10.X run. Get some good air and a nice track and I believe you can do it.

Default Keep those tips polished!

Hi all! Hope you're enjoying the heck out of your C7! Can't believe it's been 3 months since our cars were built and then sent to Starlag Spring Hill! I hit 3,700 miles this past week and still can't wipe the smile from my face!

A reminder to keep those exhaust tips polished. I didn't do that on my WRX the first year I got it and the inner lip of the tips were pitted and brown from the heat and carbon! It was too late to remove them, even with a lot of polishing cream and effort!

Have a wonderful Memorial Day and a big Thank You to those of you who served in the military!

Pascal

I agree, keeping the tip clean will make a nice difference down the road. I have seen many that weren't and they look really bad.
I do mine with Fabuluster, a polish made for white metals and a hard felt pad. This is stuff that you have to get a a jewelry supply store or a rock shop. Easy to find online, also. Abit harder to use than the creams though.
Glad to see everyone enjoying their cars! Have a good holiday, and as Pascal said, thanks to those that served or who are still in a service.

After all the snow and anticipation during the 2/16 TPW I finally took delivery of the beautiful C7. When all the snow and bad weather subsided I quickly put on an incredible 1000 miles during the break-in period. One hurdle had been cleared as I excitingly waited for the encroaching Spring in which I could happily drive the car on a regular basis. That's when I was hit with a series of unfortunate events. While finishing a soccer match one evening I rolled my ankle so hard that it fractured the small metatarsal bone in my foot. At that time I didn't know the foot was broken and I paintfully drove the car home with excruciating discomfort every time I had to push in the clutch to shift. Sadly, I've had stare at the vehicle for the last 8 weeks while waiting for the bone to heal. Although I still have a little pain, I can finally start driving the car again! In a small way I have just given myself a strong case to own an automatic in the future. hah. Happy upcoming holiday everyone!

Sure hope that the foot heals up well. What a drag!

I am always amazed at how clean the tips stay, the factory tune must be pretty good.

I'm resurrecting this old thread because the snow storm in BG this weekend reminds me of how our TPW week got sidetracked by that huge storm las year. Brings back memories of how we were all anxiously waiting for our orders to be built, only to be delayed by the storm, and then a bunch of cars got side tracked and sent down to a staging lot in Tennessee!

So - how is everyone enjoying their cars? - let's post up mileage figures a year later. I'm at something like 3,500 miles now. Loving the car. No significant mods. Anyone going to the Bash this year?

BJ

BJ, how funny! I had thought of doing the same thing, just had not got around to doing it.
I have 17,300 miles on the car, added Z51 suspension kit, Novastrech for the Bash trip last year, carbon flash strip for the retainer, looking at some new wheels.
Bought a stable mate for the C7 yesterday. Got a Buick Regal GS with the 20" upgraded wheels, polished aluminium with Pirelli tires. Black Diamond paint and sunroof. The Black Diamond looks like carbon flash, my C7 being white with carbon flash accents, I thought that the black with the polished wheel and chrome trim would be a nice mate. Got the black chrome grille, also.
Can't make the
Bash this year as work has gotten in the way. I guess that's do to the cancer being gone! and to much growth at the shop. Next year though!
It has been a great year for the C7, only in the shop for oil changes. LOVE this car.
Glad to see that others are enjoying their cars as well.
Saw your post about inflated prices at BG, I like the way you solved it...sounds like it will be a great place to stay.
Now all we need is to hear from Fear the Fork and Joe Stingray, 10mm and a couple of others!
Ya'll stay well and God bless.

I also was remembering the weather fiasco last year seeing this storm coming through KY on the news. I have 3800 miles on mine and loving every one of them. I have added a few mods, wind restrictor, painted splash guards, and some paint work under the hood. I attended Ron Fellows in August and that was a blast. Have not had the Vette out much lately with the weather but that will soon change!

7000 trouble free miles on mine. Loving it!
