Just popped into a dealer here in SoCal just to look at a couple Z06 features that I may add up my Z51 (when it finally arrives) and these guys are asking 50k over msrp on Zs! Crazy!

Melting Slicks
But when the roads were cleared and production started they had no room to put the newly built cars because the parking lot was full of snow covered cars. Shutting the plant down because your parking lot is full is not an option, so that's why the cars built right after the snow days got shipped to Spring Hill TN immediately, it is another GM facility and they have a huge parking lot.
I figured I would share this with you guys since some of you are waiting longer than cars built after you, it's basically a logistics problem because they had to wait for the snow to actually melt off some cars and then find room for them on the trucks.

We had the TPW of 2-9. Our 2015 Z51 Triple Black, Convertible, 2LT, NPP, Chrome Wheels, Red Calipers, NAV & Video Recorder etc, was off the line early on Feb 6th, built early. But then it sat in the foot of snow in Bowling Green. Was loaded on the truck on Sunday the 22nd and finally arrived in MN Tues Feb 24th with a lot of Kentucky snow still sitting on the trunk! Thank God for those covers.
Bowling Green got over a foot of snow then was so cold, they didn't ship out cars. My husband works at the dealership selling the beauties so he talks to the truck driver each time cars are delivered.
Now it is sitting at the dealership with a few others that no one has taken home either including our sold trade-in. It needs a very good detailing and will get the clear shield on it before it comes home. That's after we get rid of snow, freezing temps and gravel all over the roads.

Mine was built 2/13 and is still there. I was told yesterday by the shipping dispatcher that my car is in a load now, the driver is assigned and should leave BG Monday morning. My car was delayed by the first snow shutdown and then it had to go over for stripes. It was at the shipper last Friday waiting some other cars heading this way.
Have you checked to see if your car is with the shipper and is now in a load?
