Rank The Generations in Terms of your Favorites

1KULC7,I agree with you about the fact that the C2 is a rather crude car but really all cars in that age group are terrible compared to new cars. Still love the looks of the C2 roadsters, probably because I was a teenager when they were new and lusted over them more then any other car, until the C4 came out, and then the C5, C6, and now the C7.

My list:
C7 - Finally a Corvette interior design that matches up with the performance. A great new design.
C5 - Fell in love with the big *** the first time I saw it. The first Corvette generation that established the brand as a global player. I also like the simplistic, analog interior and passenger grab handle.
C2 - The one classic Corvette I would like to own, especially the 427 Stinger.
C3 - Chrome bumpers only with the cut rear windshield. Love the look and it was the first Corvette model I ever saw in person. White with red interior - It was a real life Mach 5 to a kid growing up on Speed Racer.
C6 - More of a C5.5 to me in terms of moving the brand forward. The later wide-body Grand Sports helped but I could never get past the bland interior and Malibu steering wheel. I chose my new C5 vert over the C6 in the summer of 2004.
C4 - I liked the later models that had the wrap around corner lights, especially the ZR1s and Grand Sport editions. I feel sorry for the owners during the clean and shine shows due to the clamshell hood.
C1 - Nice to look at from a historical perspective, however no real interest in driving one on a regular basis.

C7 - Car has it all, exotic looks and best performing (great MPGs too)
C2 - Split window was the car of my dreams as a kid)
C1 - The Route 66 car. (56 or 62)
C3 - My first Corvette 78 SA. 1973 chrome and rubber fascias (nice too)
C6 - Like their looks more and more (GS is killer)
C4 - Had two (Buck Rogers cool when introduced)
C5 - Meh - too much like the outgoing C4 to motivate me to consider buying. No disrespect to C5 owners. Took a C7 to get me back into the fold

I perfer the GS look over any other C4. An LT5 powered GS would have been awesome. They should have kept a 100 or so engines for the GS model... that would have been a sweet car.
