I am laughing at all those that really think a lap time by a professional
driver on a track in another country somehow translates into how much enjoyment they will have driving their new car around on public streets.

A-D-V-E-R-T-I-S-I-N-G. It sells cars. GM is selling the speedometer and shine. It's that simple.
It matters to me as it shows the cars potential and can drive around with a bit more pride. I view car rivalrys almost as close as sports rivalrys. The banter on forums can really spark this feeling.

Tadge just got done telling the world that they were unable to get a good time because of the weather when they were there and they may try again in the spring. If this was a real time it would have been released by GM with a video like every other Ring time they have done.
You can't believe everything you read. You'd think people would get that by now. Show me the video, like they did with the C6z, ZR1 and ZL1. That's when I'll believe.
On top of that the Horsepower Kings" website is infected with HTMLGen-A Malware..... Most over the counter windows based anti virus software doesn't pick it up. Sophos and enterprise grade malware protection does.
Be careful what you click on if you aren't protected......
