Any downsides to Xpel?
Considering doing the front and rocker panels.

Only downside is that if you get a "bikini" cut, you can see the line when you are close to the car. Worth every penny though. Great for peace of mind.

The XPel on my vert saved my front bumper from a chunk of flying recap a week after having it installed. I would not drive a premium car without it...

Depending upon the color of your car, Xpel may not come out completely clear. My car is black and while the Xpel is not as clear as it is on a buddy's Blade Silver car, I would repeat the process.

From your numbers the same protection would come out to $3140... I'd keep looking, hopefully there is a better deal near you.
Also, the front fender protection saved my car (and the other car as well) when it was rubbed by an SUV in a tight parking lot. The only damage was to the Xpel.

I paid $700 for entire front bumper, headlights, front fenders, mirrors, entire rocker panels and sides of rear bumper cover. It's been on for almost a year and still looks perfect. No yellowing at all like other films and, since I have an AW car, any slight yellowing would show.

If anyone can recommend an installer less than 100 miles from Hagerstown MD I am all ears. Hagerstown is about 75 NW of DC; 75 miles W of Baltimore and 80 miles south of Harrisburg PA. I have emailed my sales guy to see who he might recommend.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I need to decide on full hood. I want the car to shine and don't want to take away from the properties of Xpel. You can't get the depth of shine out of Xpel as you do the paint, correct?

As a note, I went with SunTek over Xpel in part because my installer (who sold both) recommended it on black and darker cars, but also in part because it was a good deal cheaper (although it has a shorter warranty). While SunTek can be easier to install and sometimes the labor is less, for me the actual film costs were a big difference for some of the pieces (and not as much for others). So, there maybe cheaper (but still great) options as well if Xpel is too expensive in your area.
