Default Who's getting some polishing done over the Winter?

-2 windchill today, thank god for a heated garage. For those of you getting your ride ready for Spring, let's see some pictures and what products your using.

Here's mine. Step 1: Adam's Clay Bar. Step 2: Adam's swirl remover. Step 3: Adam's Fine Polish. Step 4: Adam's Buttery Wax.
Step 5: Couple of Stella's.

That's certainly a first class storage facility!--mine has to winter over without heat.

Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay --Klasse All-In One--Klasse sealant--Collinite 845 insulator wax--finished off with Maalco Showroom shine.

And a few George Dickel's on the rocks

Awesome looking Vette and garage. I am switching from Rejex to the Adams line of products. Going to give their paste wax a shot.

Adams has some great video's on the web site, learned some good tips watching them.

Great job. I have been polishing my 968 while waiting on the C7 to be delivered. I have used Mezerna SF4000, BF Crystal Paint sealer. Have a bunch of other products. Trying to decide what to use on the C7.
Non heated garage, but when out there have a few heaters going, as well as sipping some scotch.

I have heard some great things about Black Fire. If I didn't have so much dang Adams in the cabinet I would try some...

Nice garage, I'm envious.
Use a 220 volt heater when working in mine.
Zaino, several coats.

Dovervold,
Great set up in your garage! Very nicely done. How many hours would you say it took you start to finish? Also, without hijacking your thread...where did you harvest your elk?

I will try to get a pic of the 968 when weather allows. 20 year old paint, 45,000 miles and it looks great, color is Grand Prix White.
I really could have done some deeper polishing with some other Menzerna products I have, but this time around just the SF4000 and topped with the BF Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection. I may do another coat and then apply BF Crystal Seal Paint Sealant. Still need to detail wheels, etc. interior.
When weather allows, I will move out of garage and take a few pics.
I may by the Adams kit or C-Magic and try those products on the vette.
Anyone use C-Magic?

That's one heck of a garage you have. Great detailing job on the car too.

I would guess about 6 hours. My last Vette was Black, so I learned what it takes to keep a nice finish the hard way. Elk was taken in New Mexico, 1986. Scored 355 B & C.

Great man cave you have.

I cheated and used the heat of the sun yesterday. I also wiped that smile off her face.
