I have the black painted wheels and did the hydro2 on them about 2 weeks ago. Washed the car the other day and just a quick blast with a power washer and the wheels looked awesome again. Great stuff.

I'm finding in fla weather, I do the hydro2 and sonax about every 5 -6 weeks, but just recreational driving, no commuting...

Glen, this is really great info! I'm buy'n and try'n. Also, I noticed the little paint mark on the tires which agitates my OCD. I have successfully removed these in the past with Goo Gone and/or some Tire Gel plus elbow-grease. Just FYI. Thanks for your excellent advise.

I followed this method on my black Z51 wheels and it worked perfectly. I pulled the wheels.

Thanks for sharing the info about these two products. I tried them and just can't believe how clean the rims stay now. I had tried waxing other spray protectant products and nothing works like these two!!!!!! Glad somebody spends the time and money to check out all the stuff that is on there. You have definitely learned which products work the best. Thanks again for your efforts.

Thanks Glen, it sounds like great stuff. Are there any chain stores that sell Sonax and Carpro, or do I order on line? Thanks

I used this technique today for the first time. It's been 400 miles since the last wash 4 months ago. Mostly due to it sitting in the garage for 3 of the 4 months.

I followed the instructions to the letter and with little effort, my machine faced wheels look better than ever. I am the type that would clean one wheel for 30 minutes and this allowed me to do all 4 in 30 minutes with roughly the same results.

I purchased everything from Amazon I believe. It was about 3 months ago when I first bought everything Glen recommended.

I still need to do some paint correction on the wheels but I knew cleaning was not going to address that issue. At least they look great from 6" away now.

Thanks Glen!

Glen, that brush looks like it has very stiff bristles. I assume I should wash the car first with a dish detergent to remove my one coat of wax?
