12/16/18~#12,000 R8C delivery~Spotlight ZR1 delivery and more~Mike Furman@Criswell***
~Option Code R8C signifies Corvette Museum Delivery and has been noted as such since the early 5th Generation Corvette. Some folks at the Museum notified me this Tuesday the
18th that my customers from Morgan Hill,California (Gary and Diane) will be the 12,000th delivery at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. I have probably had 300-400 customers over the years take advantage of
the R8C program and every one of them have had the Red Carpet rolled out as they experience their dream Corvette on the Museum floor. Think about that...12,000 Museum deliveries, what a Milestone...Congrats to everyone
involved at the National Corvette Museum! You can watch Gary and Diane (and family) on the Museum Web Cam this Tuesday...I also have two sets of other customers doing Museum delivery on Thursday the 20th.
Call my desk direct line when seeking your next Corvette 301-212-4420. www.corvettefurman.com or email mfurman@criswellauto.com
~The picture below was in the National Corvette Museum E News Friday Dec 14th 2018.
~I am going to spotlight one delivery this week....2019 Corvette ZR1 #1399.
~Richard B. Of Greenfield, Indiana last purchased a Yellow C7R from me just a couple years ago and he put his name on my next list of the highest horsepower C7 coming down the road. 7 weeks ago I placed his factory order for a Sebring Orange Tintcoat 2019 ZR1 Cpe with 755 horsepower ! Richard chose a 7spd manual transmission for his Orange Design Pkg ZR1. Equipment list: Dual roof Pkg, Performance Air intake, CF painted mirrors, ZTK Track Performance Pkg and 3ZR Pkg. We completed the Paperwork/payment process via Fed Ex and now it’s ready for Plycar Trucking to pick up and enclose trailer his new ZR1 to his driveway in Indiana. ZR1 #1399.
~Some others that left the yard...
~ I delivered a new Jeep to a referral that happens to be the Head Scout for the Washington Nationals Baseball Team. He brought in a gift for my son and I.
...Signed baseballs by Max Scherzer and Bryce Harper...
~I always wished that GM would have produced the Corvette Nomad...just something about it.
~In the Criswell Service lane yesterday...C6 ZR1 getting an oil change and my C7 ZR1 waiting delivery.
~Special people special cars. The following two pictures show two different people linked to the same man.
One a Vietnam Veteran best friend and the other his wife. Both meant so much to him but their time on Earth was
just too darn short... Never to be forgotten.
~The Frank Class Corvette Barn Find and Throwback section. Please post up your favorite picture this week.
The original Brembo brake...
~Have a great week and travel safe.

Thanks for the pics. My favorite was the pic of William shatner? Leaning against the passenger door of the black 63 split with the doberman.

Hello Mike,
12,000 Vettes being delivered at the Museum is an impressive number considering the how long they have being doing deliveries there.
Another great week of throwback Corvette photos. The photos this week are my favorite group this year. There are many outstanding photos! I have a hard time picking a favorite. But I will go with this one since it is local to me. I instantly recognized the buildings in the background
I went by that building Friday night. It is in the part of downtown Oklahoma City called Automobile Alley due to the numerous old car dealer ships that were locate there at one time. Some of the buildings still have there large neon signs attached to the building and lit. All of the dealerships are gone, and the buildings have been converted to other uses. Many of the buildings were covered in Christmas lights Friday nigh and was a neat site to see. It is one of many neat areas of OKC. A man I worked for right out of college, who was my sister-in-laws step father, his father owned an Oldsmobile dealer ship on Broadway in downtown.
Have a great week and Merry Christmas.
