Default Another Steve Ray C7 Engine Bay Masterpiece

Steve Ray, owner of Airbrush Incorporated in Owensboro, Kentucky, does incredible work! This is an award winning C7 engine bay that he painted for customers that wanted a time traveler/steam punk them. He has painted two Corvette hood liners and a rear cargo shade for me and we have plans for a special airbrush job on my C7 in April (don't ask...it's top secret...lol). If you're interested in seeing more of his work or contacting about something for your Corvette, check out his website at http://www.airbrushincorporated.com/. Phenomenal job, Steve!

Wow, that is some true artistry. I have custom FRC's, Plenum, and hood liner enroute, can't wait to get them on

That's pretty cool. Wonder how it holds up long term and low/high temp fluctuations.

Almost a shame to:
1. Have that artwork covered under a hood
2. Have that artwork embedded around components that will inherently become dirty

Beautiful work!

I know of an engine bay that he did last year that was highly detailed and was around $7,000. This one may even be more detailed, actually!

ouch.....I'm sure it's worth it but for that price I'd get a supercharger, oh well, I'll keep it in the back of my head.

It's all in how much a person wants to spend. He does great work for several hundred dollars too. It just has to do with what level of detail someone wants.

That price is steep, but so is the work...

I love it regardless!

Very fine. Should have a clear see-through hood with something like that laying underneath.

Steve has done a complete engine bay for my C6 and will do the same for my C7. He does outstanding work and the artwork has held up extremely well on my C6 after 2 years and several thousand miles of driving. He is very talented, the work is fairly priced and it holds up.

That engine bay was 10 grand. About half way through the job, I actually thought that I had quoted it a little cheap! I had right at 200 hrs total, which included prep work, final clear coat and a finish slicker than the factory paint. Cheap artwork aint good, and good artwork aint cheap
