Default Squeaky Butterflies?

One of my V4/V8 exhaust bypass values lets out a distinctive 'squeak' every time it switches modes. Anybody else have this problem? Does it simply need to be replaced?
I've got the auto so the only way to avoid the AFM is to run the box in manual all the time.

If you're actually talking about the AFM valves, I haven't seen anything discussed here.

But if you actually mean the NPP valves, I found this discussion with no real solution:

I would love to see a solution to this problem. Majority of the time when coming to a stop, I would hear a loud squeak that is bothering me. If it wasnt so loud, I could overlook it. Im going to attempt the wd40 method to see if it would help.

You might want to try a lithium grease instead of WD40. I understand WD40 doesn't have a lot of "staying power".

Thank you for the recommendation. Definitely will do that.
