What are the "must have" options?
What are the "must have" options to include on your order sheet? I know it's subjective and a matter of opinion but what would you rather not live without? What performance options are definite necessities? The base corvette is nicely appointed but there have to be items that must be ordered to enjoyed, what are they? Thanks for the feedback!

Part of you answer is rooted in the question of how you will use the car. BUT in any scenario I'd put the NPP performance exhaust at the top of the list.

I have a 2014 convertible, Z51, 3LT, carbon interior trim, HUD, Magnetic select ride, NPP exhaust, matching color brake calipers, Navigation/Infotainment, super nice Lloyd dual logo/corvette embroidered floor mats, a set of Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires and a set of Michelin A/S 3 all season tires. I would say the above are must haves if you're doing it right.

Thanks for the feedback!
I think I'll leave my order just as it stands. 1LT Z51 Coupe in NRB, black interior, Mag Ride, Carbon Flash emblems and spoiler, mirrors, etc. Black rims. I mainly wanted the performance options while keeping the price down so it's a compromise. I think it has quite enough creature comforts it seems as well. Thanks again.

For me it's the 3LT interior. The one major complaint (certainly by all the car magazine testers) over the years was always the Vette interior. The 3LT finally puts an end to that.

I didn't need any of the options I ordered. I'm getting a 1LT because the extras that come with the other LT packages mean next to nothing to me. Z51 with MSRC for no other reason than I want everything performance wise that's available. It makes no sense at all, I'll almost certainly never go beyond the capabilities of a non-Z51. Then again, buying a Corvette isn't about making sense!

After gettiing all the bells and whistles on my 3LT Z51 C6, for my C7 I wanted to try a minimalist approach: 1LT Stingray coupe SG/JB with just 3 options:
NPP
Black wheels
Carbon Flash Badging
I'm just a month into ownership, but I'm really diggin' it!

I have a 3LT Z51....my "MUST HAVE"s are definitely the MANUAL, the NPP, and the comp seats! Ok, maybe not the comp seats, but for me personally, I had to have them after sitting in one! And in my opinion, if it can be afforded, go with the Z51 with MRS.

Other than the 3LT, the only option I will order is NPP. If I didn't want to keep costs down, I would also order the ZF1 appearance package and carbon fiber trim.
