Observation about traction control
I've noticed when I turn off traction control, my mpg increases approximately 3 mpg on my 15 mile commute to work, from 28 to 31, any theories as to why?

Could be, your are driving more conservatively. Being aware that you have no traction control you're not putting your foot in it as your normally would.
Just my .02.

I could see traction control having to work on these powerful cars when we don't realize it. With it off, you would probably have to baby it to keep from spinning.
