Default Can you combine USAA $750 off with GM Supplier, Credit Union, or Emplyee discount?

I was very fortunate to obtain a GEX (GM Executive Discount) pass, which is essentially the same pricing that GM employees get. I also qualify for the USAA $750 off discount. My dealer is trying to tell me that they cannot be combined. Is that true?

I don't want to be ungrateful, but $750 is $750.

Anyone use both a GM discount and the USAA discount together?

**Update 3/14/2015 - Today I ordered my 2015 Corvette Coupe Z51 and Hendrick Chevy allowed me to use my GEX code as well as the USAA $750 discount.

My dealer gave me the Military GM (approx 9.33%) discount and USAA.

Bought my C7 mid-December and my dealer told me that they could not be combined, so I did not get the USAA discount.

I wonder if the dealer just does not want to mess with the paperwork. I have not seen anything that says you cannot combine the two.

Where did you buy from?

Maybe I can contact your dealer and get my info straight so that when I visit my dealer this weekend, I have all of the info to prove that they can be combined.

Thanks!

YES!!!! The $750 is a rebate from Chevrolet and has nothing to do with the dealer profit. Make sure you get the $750!!!!

But if you use GM Card earnings, the $750 USAA money is not available. At least that is what happened to me on my recent Impala purchase.

Sounds like your not satisfiesd with the GM Employee discount!

Price your car with the Employee Discount vs. the GM Supplier Discount and will see there is about an addtional $2000 in savings over GMS.

What more could you possibly want. The savings is huge.

It is my understanding on the GM Employee discount, no other offers can be combined. It is the lowest price that you can get.

Here are the rules governing GM Employee Discounts. The information is current as of 1/7/2015.

Yes, if USAA $750 discount is avail at the time, it's ON TOP/ADDITIONAL to all other discounts, since it's from Chevy.

It wasn't avail on my 2014 last yr, but I believe it's avail this yr.

Best way to find out is through your USAA.com site. Go through the pricing exercise & you could print out the cert...

Go to GM's military discount website. There is an ad for the USAA discount on the page. It says to combine the military discount with the USAA discount right there.

All these references to supplier, credit union and military discount pages are irrelevant, he is getting EMPLOYEE pricing, a completely different program.

However, USAA IS allowed for the Employee program. Print this out and hand it to your dealer!

While he is getting Employee Pricing, I believe the program he is using is called the Conquest Sale Discount... It gives Employee pricing but my not include other discounts....

This is exactly what I was looking for!!!!

The GEX discount I am getting is exactly the same as an Employee Discount, except that it can be given by an Exec to a non-employee.

Based on this flyer, there is no reason that my dealer should not allow me to use the USAA $750 in addition to the GEX discount. At least no real reason to deny me as the dealer will be able to collect the $750 as it is a legit program.

Please don't get me wrong, I am very happy and grateful for the Employee Discount. However that does not mean that I should leave $750 on the table if it is something I have available to me.

I work very hard for my money, so I don't believe in giving it away if I don't have to. $750 will almost pay for the Ron Fellows school or it will more than pay for a track weekend at VIR.

Good work. I was just going to post that too. GM actually encourages combining discounts with the employee discount. I've done that with multiple vehicle purchases over the years. Once, a $2k rebate we didn't know about at the time of the purchase was applied to our deal weeks after we left the dealership with our new car!

Oh, one more thing, I think there is always the "at participating dealers" qualification. In this case it costs them nothing to participate and builds (or could build) buyer loyalty. You would hope they would value that!
