nope. That's why you have run flat tires.

When was the last time you needed a spare tire?

Spare tires are unnecessary weight in a car with very little room, a small repair kit and a portable compressor weigh less and will get you to where you want to go.

Now there would be a better option for 100 than that battery protection.

You've had your car for almost a year, and you just found out you don't have a spare tire? There's a book in the glove compartment that you obviously haven't found yet either! It's called 'The Owners Manual', and it will answer almost every question that you've asked, (except for how to stop without using the front bumper!)

Saves weight and in most circumstances if you get a flat the runflats will get you to a repair shop.

Don't feel bad the Volt, Malibu and the Cruise all do not have spares, and they are not even run-flats My 2014 Impala LTZ came with a spare but only a do-nut spare tire at that.

If it had a spare, where would it be stored? In the hatchback? (Rhetorical)

The thing has 2 seats and enough room in the trunk for a couple pizza boxes and you expect a spare tire?

Hey, a Honda S2000 is smaller, and has a spare. Of course it doesn't have room for a couple of pizza boxes in the trunk.

I've been riding motorcycles without a spare for more than 40 years. Knock on wood. And I've had a Miata without a spare for more than 5 years. Haven't missed them yet. The Miata does have a jack, airpump and a bottle of slime, though.

I think part of the problem with the 'vette is ground clearance. GM could probably have fit a compact spare without too much trouble. But those tires are smaller in diameter than the regular tires, and would put one corner of the car so close to the ground it might be hazardous.
