Default Differences between 2014 and 2015 C7

I have an opportunity to buy a dealer demo 2014 C7 Z51/3LT loaded.

My question (And I did a search and couldn't bring this up) If there is a link, send it along so I can do a side by side comparison!)

What are the differences between a 2014 C7 and a 2015 C7?

(Won't you guys finally be happy when I get one so you don't keep getting hit with all these newbie questions?!! )

Thanks!

Joe

Never mind! I found an excellent article on the internet outlining all the changes to the 2015 model. Guess I won't really want the 2014 after all. That 8 speed automatic really grabs my attention over the 6 speed.

The only reason I own a C7 is the updated A8. It was the deal breaker/maker.

Why don't you post the link to help future buyers with the same question.

Same here. When i went to the dealer i couldnt wait to test drive it. Just wanted to experience the A8, that was the decision maker. I was pleasantly surprised after my test drive.

Well transmission is really important to me. So had i not liked the A8 i would NOT have purchased the corvette. Simple as that. I would have went with a challenger hellcat with the ZF8 trans. Currently also have a 2013 SRT Charger and the 5 speed transmission in it sucks. Only downfall of the car! Won't make that mistake again.

Yes, he and I bought the car so we could have the transmission and literally throw everything else in the trash.

The trash man is getting a nice bonus this year.

resurrecting an almost 2 year old thread with this nugget of knowledge on your first post takes quite a lot of effort

I've driven both and chose the 2014 A-6 over the 2015 A-8. Glad I did!

20/20 hindsight, I'm glad I have an A6, too.

eta: I just realized my car was built 3 years ago, TODAY!

Lisa, it's just awesome you have 63K miles on your '14. That has to be a forum record, or close.

Close, but not quite.

2014BlkVette has a couple thousand more than I, but he's owned his six months longer, and I had five months with virtually no miles put on mine due to illness. By the end of the year, I'll have surpassed him, unless he steps up his game.

Realize that talking about how great the A8 trans may be for you is like wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat at Berkeley. Just not tolerated by some.
