Default Fuel smell after fill up

Garage smelled like someone poured gasoline all over the floor when I went inside after fill up from previous day. I saw that someone else had a similar problem. Was there a fix put out by GM? Cecil...........

I think there is a recall out there for the gas tank filler hose, but "topping off" might cause that as well, especially in warm climates.

The recall is for the anti siphon grid, inside the filler hose, slipping out of place, and possibly falling into the left side tank. That wont cause a fuel leak, or fuel odor.

However there is a TSB for a possible fuel leak in the high pressure fuel line located under the intake manifold. Best to have the dealer check it out. If one would catch fire, or enough are discovered leaking that may justify a recall.

I will give a call tomorrow morning. I only have 150 miles on it and I was going to wait, but this could turn bad quick. Thanks, Cecil...........
