Default Wheel Fitment

So I am wondering if the factory wheels from a base C6 will fit a base C7?

I have been finding wheels that I like (both factory and not) that say they fit C6's. I have noticed that the sizes seem to be the same (18x8.5x56 and 19x10x79) so that has me wondering if they will fit.

I just found wheels that look like this and are the sizes I referenced above. I like them enough to ask the question even though I am sure someone will say "why would you want to put C6 wheels on your C7"

Thanks,
-Bob George

Offsets are comparable but C7 calipers are thicker. Some C6 wheels will clear, others will require using a small spacer and E.T. lugnuts.

Hmmn, well I think I'll look for wheels that will definitely fit and not take a chance on maybe they will, maybe they won't It seems most of the wheels I have found are sold as is, no returns, etc, etc, so I won't take the chance. Thanks for the info about the brake calipers. I had not considered them.
