I had my tint shop install the Vettefx carbon flash hood stinger decal today, it looks good with the Laguna Blue and sure saved me a lot of $$$ compared to the factory install. Overcast sky didn't allow for a very good picture though.
Could I ask you what it cost and how long it took the guy ? My shop wants a hundred bucks which seems a lot. After seeing it done do you think you could have done it ??

It took him about an hour and he only charged $50, well worth it to me. No doubt I would have messed it up somehow. This is the same shop that installed my Expel film, very high quality work.

Typical auto shop rates run $80-$100/hr. I don't consider $100 for the install out of line at all.
Maybe this is dumb question... is the factory stinger a decal too? Or is it painted?
It ain't paint, a vinyl just like all chevy stripes....some will say it's better as it has clear coat over it but its indistinguishable from good stock vinyl like ORACAL.....
My tint shop for the stinger was $50....a very fair price, IMO

Window tint usa, sample rd in coconut creek. Ask for melissa. They’ ve done many c7’s.

Sean did mine as well. High quality and came out perfect. My tint shop did the install for $100. Lots less $ than GM. Sean was easy to deal with as well.
