Default Winter Storage ?

Just got my Vette out of winter storage and it runs and looks great. Thanks to Glen and everyone else for your assistance

The only challenge I have is my gas measurement isn't working. When I put it into storage, I had near a full tank. Now it's just stuck on a little over an eighth of a tank. And no leaks. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Put a bottle of techron in the tank and run the car (don't run out of gas). If it doesn't clean up the sending unit, you're probably going to have to take it to the dealer for service.

I used the Techron. How quickly should it work?

Did you drive the car? How many miles?

If that doesn't work, my other thought was to disconnect/reconnect the battery.

It might take a tank or even two. Your float is probably stuck and/or potentiometer is contaminated and needs time for deposits to dissolve. Warranty?

Watch your mileage, so you don't run out. I would get the fuel level down to about 1/2 tank to cycle the potentiometer. A few times will tell if the indicating system will start working. My car was built on April 18th, can't believe almost a year has past.

I've put about 25 miles on it this year. It appears after driving a little that my gas gauge shows a little more gas in the tank. I'll estimate driving to half a tank and go from there. Thank you

I drove it until I had approximately half a tank of gas. I filled up with gas and my gas gauge says I'm on empty now. I have an appointment to be serviced later this week.
