Default Caliper Cover & New Center Caps

Just installed red caliper covers, black gorilla lugs, and custom center caps on my TSW machine faced alloys. Thoughts?

Wheels look nice. Personally, I wouldn’t put caliper covers on, with hard brake use the covers would only decrease shedding of heat. Don

Agree. And caliper covers just look el-cheapo in IMO.

Where did you get the center caps?

You might want to consider having the OEM calipers powercoated in red.

I agree on the look of the caliper covers. They do not do the Corvette C7 any justice for looks. The fake bolts and the design is not conducive to the original look of the caliper itself.

These covers that you put on actually detract from the fine look of the Corvette wheel. Any savy Corvette owner will certainly know these are low priced aftermarket caliper covers.

The caps are great. Where did you get them? I've got the same Nurb's on mine too.

The caps are actually 58mm 3D stickers on top of the stock TSW caps. If you PM me, I'll send you the link to the company's website...

Split the stock OEM vette cap and glue them on to the TSW cap with epoxy, now you have a real OEM stock look

Not a fan of caliper covers - would much rather have the calipers painted or powdercoated - but if you're happy, that's all that matters.

Lover the wheels and centercaps.

Now break out the Black & Decker drill & vent the rotors.

Caliper covers are not a favorite on this forum. Have you noticed that. Actually I think they look fine.

Don't like the covers with the painted faux bolts. Looks kinda Pep-boy'ish and not suited for a Vette. I had a set on the rear of a GT500 and ultimately removed them for the same reason. Wheels look great

I have read more about caliper covers on the C 6 C7 forums than you can imagine. It is 10 to one against and I really dont know why, I think they look fine. I painted mine but if I had couple of hundred bucks to shell out I would have bought some

That brand of caliper cover looks good depending on the model car.

Had an '05 C6 with decent shaped calipers and painted them red. The 'Corvette' name was raised thus easy. Never considered covers.

Then on my '11 BMW Z4 with small ugly calipers I hid them with the Op's brand caliper cover in Black with a 'BMW' logo in white. A much improved look with no issues. Paint would not fix ugly.

Now with my '14 C7 I just bought it with red calipers. If I hadn't I would have painted them as the calipers look good and the mentioned caliper cover not as good IMO. But the 'Corvette' not being raised must be addressed.

Since you asked...horribly ricer. I'm not sure why anyone would consider this.
