Dealer quote to install Z06 grill...
I have the car at the dealer to get the GPS fixed and replace a faulty LED on the passenger side. Been working like 100 hours a week and the Z06 grill has been sitting for more than a month waiting for me install it.
Ask the dealer for a quote to install it since the car is there all week anyway.... $350 to $370 - labor alone - according to their rate card.
Yep, that grill will be waiting until I can get away from work long enough to install it.

A local Chevy dealer here in Connecticut charged me $165 out the door to install the Z06 grill and the Stage 1 diffuser. They did a great job! I was in and out in 2 hours.

Sounds like that dealer is trying to take you to the cleaners on that job.

I asked my dealer about installing the Z06 grill before I took delivery.
They said no they wont touch bodywork on a C7.
So looks like I will install myself.

The install cost does seem high, but I bet you could look around and find it would be about the same as other places. If they haven't done it, which most haven't, they're going to overprice it to make sure they get paid if they run into problems.

I just got mine also. I am way too busy to install it myself. I need to find someone local who can do it for me.
