Any regrets of buying black car?
Im looking to buy a c7, and found a car that has all the options i want, but its black. I had 3 black cars in the past, and swore off buying another one. Looks sick when clean, but its only clean after a car wash. Ma last two cars were bright blue (z06) and white (m3). Loved the jsb, and white was ok. C7 seems to have so many beautifull black inserts that i think a black car would hide. Maybe i already know my answer, but dont want to miss out on a good deal just for the color...

Don't do it. A huge part of the experience with this car is the looks. I get a lot of enjoyment out of admiring my ride and feeling proud of its appearance. Be patient and get a color that you love.

If its not a daily driver, part of the fun for me is cleaning the car. Kind of therapeutic in a weird way.

If you actually plan on driving the Car, you will end up cleaning/detailing it more than driving it.

If that didn't teach you, you are unteachable.

I had three C6's [silver, crystal red, TR] prior to my current C7 black vert.
No regrets here, I use a California Duster after each ride and that removes the dust layer quickly. I love my black C7 and spending some time keeping it clean is fine with me!

I had a black Z4 and it was beautiful. Problem was that about four hours after detailing it started to look embarrassingly nasty. I don't have an inclosed garage and we have an abundance of pollen and dust here. I felt it looked like I didn't care. After about a year the paint began to show swirls. That was fixable but it turned into more effort than I wanted.

Probably the main reason I went away from black, when I first though of getting one it was going to be black. Personally I love the way the SG shows off the inserts.

I almost pulled the trigger on a triple black vert because it was a good deal but decided to hold off. Two days later, I found my CR vert which turned out to be just as good as a deal. Hold out until you find what you really want.
