I love the preset favorites on the radio.

But can someone give me a quick tip to save contact phone # on one of the fav preset?

Thanks,

It doesn't work with the roof out. Go figure.

Thanks,
With the phone number displayed (before you dial it), pull up your favorite list. Hold down the preset you want it saved in, then press the phone number you want to store. You can also store the contact instead if they have multiple phone numbers you use.

Nope. But there's a work around. I'll search for it when I get a chance.

It was a dry-wall anchor pushed down into the driver's side roof alignment hole. There is a sensor micro-switch down in the hole that affects the alarm configuration. I think a parade flag mast would also press the switch if the mast mount goes far enough down the hole.

Convertibles do NOT have the micro-switch in the hole.

Thanks Elmer. Makes me wonder why the switch is there.

I think the proximity portion of the alarm is very sensitive and it disables that part of the alarm capability when the top is off. My convertible has a similar sensor in the rear boot area and does the same thing when my top is up/down.

If you keep your windows open and lock the car. If you try and reach into the car it will trigger the alarm. I found this out at a gas station the other day...
My 1LT coupe doesn't have this option. There's a button near the hatch release below and to your left of the steering wheels that allows you to have this activated or not.

If you travel on a car ferry your alarm will go off when the boat rocks at all. Trust me , been there and done that. The C7 alarm seems very sensitive to any movement. It was the only car of about 100 that had the alarm keep going off, never had a problem with false alarms before , probably a good thing.

When you press the time on your screen a analog clock will appear full screen...

My 2lt also has the button to deactivate the motion detector, right down beside the hatch open button. Here is the manual info to turn that off, no need sticking items in the roof opening to disarm it ...this sounds like it may have resolved my ferry issue as well , too late.

You don't "stick things " in the pins to disarm it.....quite the opposite....read some more

Leave the hatch open and the alarm will not be engaged. I do this at car shows as when folks drop flyers into the car the alarm will not sound.
