Nice to know i have an extremely rare color. If it goes the route of LRG, my '15 will be a keeper. I get so many complements on the color.

So white overtakes Torch Red, wasn't far behind last year. Looks nice but white for a sports car? Probably helps that it isn't priced as a premium paint. Given all the ads seem to feature Laguna Blue makes me wonder it doesn't sell more units.

It makes sense the 4 best selling colors, which account for 2/3 of all C7 sales are free colors.
Imo, the stumper is blade silver - as in general, silver is the best selling color for all cars sold, accounting for 20% of sales, but even as a free color it captures only 5% of C7 sales.
Also interesting DSOM isn't selling much, if at all better than the LRG it replaced.
I am not surprised white is #1, as it is very popular in my area.

I think silver is a low seller on the Corvette simply because Shark Gray looks so much better and if SG wasn't offered, a lot of those people might have gone for silver instead. I generally don't like silver or gray on most cars, but both of them look great on the C7. In fact the only color I don't like on the C7 is black as I find it hides the lines of the car far too much. I found the same thing with the C5 and the C6 too.

Seems I got myself a real rare Stingray.
I haven't seen figures for 2015 yet, but for 2014 convertibles made up only 29% of Stingray sales, and manual transmissions only 35%.
So my DSOM, black suede, 7MT convertible is likely to be pretty uncommon.

These are the cars that will be even more rare since 3LT KALAHARI will no longer cover must of the interior.
2014 base or Z51 3LT LG with KALAHARI
2015 base or Z51 3LT CRT With KALAHARI
What makes no sense based on the above data on interior colors, GM kept the 1% BROWNSTONE in full interior design but cut the KALAHARI at 11% from the 2016 line up.
Way to go GM, I like to know who is the @#$ that made does decisions?.
