Default Mike@Criswell's Pics from the Corvette Bash/Dinner/Museum etc******4/25/15***

I am certainly not the best with a phone camera but just being at any Corvette Event in person is awesome. Glad to meet up with many customers that I have never met, Museum employee's, Plant employee's and new friends along the way. I have been selling Corvette's since July 26th 1978 and this hobby is pure fun all the time. Back in 2002 I joined the Corvette Museum, in 2010 I became the Frederick County Corvette Club's Ambassador for the Corvette Museum and just the other day I joined as a Lifetime Member of the Museum. Don't know what took me so long! I will be 55 this year and hope to have plenty more years to enjoy the Corvette Hobby. ~So here are my pictures from this past weeks Bash at the Museum/Plant.
~I arrived Wednesday around Noon and met up with Sid from Nebraska. We checked in and drove over to the Museum that afternoon.
-Sid, Shane Webb (head of Corvette Museum Deliveries) and Paul Pearson of FL.

-went thru the Museum...no words needed.

-Always liked this sign!

Wed eve Sid and I had dinner at the Montana Grille with Chris Chessnoe.

Thurs morn back over to the Museum bright and early. The weather could not have been better.

Standing with the new Z06 Callaway 755?HP.

-2016 wheel options

Back thru the Museum...

_Back in the 1978-1989 time frame I saw Zora often at the Malcolm Konner Corvette Shows. He Elfie and Larry Shinoda came every year and it was like Babe Ruth and Elvis being in the building. They would stay at the Konner's household.

-Z07 tire up close...

I really like this wall mural of the '53 made up of many many pictures. Very Cool.

-Mike P of Washington arranged a tour of the Plant so Sid, Mike from Texas and I head over for our 11:30am tour. Even stopped by the new track across the street while we were at it.

-Sadly for us Corvette enthusiasts, Christine is starting a new job and moving to Florida May 1st. She has been the Executive Asst to the Plant Mgr for many years and a finer person can not be found then Christine. I saw her 1981 Corvette in the lot and took a picture of me and her Vette.

-Over at the track...

-Back at the Museum, stored away for next weeks Corvette Museum deliveries. Cool color combo's.

-Keith from Corvette Blogger and Todd C, head of the Corvette/Camaro cars.

~~Coolest looking bench...but not comfortable to sit on.

-Me and Keith again.

-Todd from Spring Mountain Race Track and I. Great driving school and race track...and Todd's a great guy.

-Will Cooksey and his wife at the Museum.

-New Race Car Yellow unveiling.

-Jeff LaMarche's company car-2016 Yellow cpe.

-Todd C and Jeff L outside the Museum.

-Callaway Z06

-The Corvette Forum dinner at Montana Grill Thursday eve.

-Friday morning I met up with BJ from Georgia as he took Museum delivery and I never got to see his beautiful Laguna Blue Convt with Brownstone Competition seats...STUNNING!!

-Race Car Driver Tommy Milner in the house!!!All Rise! He is great!

-10 am 2016 new stuff meeting...packed house.

-Ryan Vaughan, Harlan Charles and Jeff Lamarche.

-Ryan Vaughn's Father just ordered a new Stingray from me. Should arrive real soon!

-Laguna Blue with Blue interior.

-Super cool 2009 Callaway number 1 in a limited Callaway series.

-New for 2016...

-Coming this Fall...only 500 to be produced, C7R Z06 in Black or Yellow.

-Spice Red edition...

-BJ and his wife out side in the show lot.

-New for 2016...front camera.

If you have never attended a BIG Corvette event...put it on your bucket list!

Great pics, it looks like a lot of fun! I've toured the Bowling Green plant twice (in 97 and 98) but didn't have the time to see the museum and I would love to go down for the Bash one of these years and really experience everything!
