Default Exspensive trip to Sam's Club

My wife and I decided to go to Sams today and since we would be in a bigger town I check inventory at the dealership there for C7 as we have been looking at them and talking about getting one for several weeks now. Sure enough they had one showing on their website so we went over and test drove it.

I had previously test driven one but wanted my wife to drive one.

Now she has always been great about me getting the bikes and cars I wanted , but she has never been truly excited about them. Not so with the C7 I took it outside of town on a twisty road and put her behind the wheel, she is in love with the car almost as much as I am.

Needless to say we started negotiations on price and trade in value for my 2014 Ruby Red Mustang GT premium with sport/comfort packages after much back and forth we finally struck a deal that I feel is great and agreed to sign papers tomorrow.

We have spent years riding 2 up on sport and sport touring bikes and always enjoyed spirited runs on back roads together.

After she broke her arm last year we have found that she just isn't up to riding pillion any longer (too much pain at it was pretty badly broken just above her wrist) so I am selling off my 08 BMW K1200GT and keeping just my 2010 S1000RR for my solo rides and together we will now bomb back roads together again in a 2015 C7 3lt artic white/jet blk with perf exhaust and data/video recorder. Wonder if I will get any sleep tonight.

Wow, that's great. As a rider as well, I get the 2 wheel "addiction". Now you and your wife have the best of both! Congrats and enjoy!!

BTW, Are the roads near Crocket worth the drive from DFW?

Congrat's. In 1987 my wife sent me out to buy a camcorder. I came home with a used 1985 Corvette. Never looked back and have had a Corvette ever since. Enjoy your new ride.

there are some nice roads around here, not sure if I would drive down from FW to run them as u should be about the same distance from the beginning of the hill country from western FW or maybe up to OK to the talahmina (spelling) from eastern FW both having great roads, from here I do loops either west over to Montgomery and the forest road and 3090 or north on backs road looping back into Palestine from the west.

Well at least you didn't have to buy a six pack of corvettes to get a good deal.
