Default Delivery post from 5/2~Colors and more colors w/pics etc~Mike@Criswell

This past week I delivered quite an array of color combo's...and took in some really nice trades as well. I did a bunch of Courtesy deliveries and Museum deliveries so I am still waiting for customer pics but will post as I receive them.
~First up is Brent H of Charlotte, North Carolina. Shark Gray Z51 cpe in Shark Gray with Black wheels and red calipers was his Factory order that I had drop shipped to his local Chevrolet dealership. Brent was very happy with his choices! In Brent's own words..."I have my car and love it. My purchase experience from you and your dealership was great. It was easier dealing with you guys from 500 miles away than most car buying experiences I have had (and I've owned lots of cars). Thanks again." Brent

~John G of Longmont, Colorado took Corvette Museum delivery of his Daytona Sunrise Orange Z06. He sent me some pics and kind words "Just got to Kansas City on our way back to Longmont CO. Dave at the NCM was great. the whole experience blew us away and exceeded our
expectations. highly recommended! Thanks Mike again for helping make this happen!" JG

~Patrick M of Las Vegas, Nevada chose to order his Arctic White Z51 cpe with Black Comp seats. This car pops from every angle. Patrick had Criswell PDI and prep it for Plycon Trucking to deliver to his driveway. Here are some pics before it left. Patrick is a long standing Corvette Forum member!

~Rick K of Altoona, PA factory ordered himself a new Torch Red Stingray cpe and traded in his 2008 Jetstream Blue cpe that he had factory ordered.
his 08 trade...

for....15 Stingray

~Wallace F of Arnold, Maryland placed his Factory order for his Torch Red Stage 2 1LZ Z06 and counted the moments to yesterday. He drove up with his nephew in his 2003 Z06 and drove away in his New 15 Z06.

~Bob M of Herndon, Virginia came in 7 weeks ago and placed his order for a Daytona Sunrise Convt. Bob is a regular on the Forums. Yesterday he picked it up and took the long way home and enjoyed every moment. Although Bob did stop for a moment to send me this note..."Thanks Mike!" Bob and his wife will enjoy this Stingray Convt for a very long time!!

-my friend drove by in his 1958 Vette as I was delivering this new Stingray for Bob...

~Plycon trucking came by yesterday to ship a Suburban to Florida.

~Tim Z of New Jersey picked up his Laguna Blue Z06 a few weeks ago and sent me a picture of his collection spaced out on the front yard.

~The other day I got surprised as two former College friends of mine stopped by the dealership to pick out a Silverado. Both played 4 yrs of Football at U of Maryland and I Wrestled for the Terps. Ron Solt on the Right played 11 yrs in the NFL. I'm 5ft 9 and 190lbs and they dwarf me!

~Throwback picture time...

C2's getting delivered via Train...

1963 Split Window Barn pics...

...and when the 63 S/W was NEW! Someday I will own a nice restored version.

...63 S/w in action back in the day...

C3 marriage of Body and Frame at the Plant.

~2006 Monterey Red on the left and 2016 Long Beach Red on the Right.

****~This Tuesday eve(May 5th) 10pm EST I will be on the Bravo TV Network reality Show "The Newlyweds". Stingray delivery surprise Forum Post will be coming this Wednesday. Lots of behind the scenes pictures and video...so stay tuned or ready with your DVR.

Thanks Mike as a future C7 owner (later this year) I look forward to seeing this post every week. Love seeing the smiles on the faces of the new owners as they take delivery of their new cars.

Great looking Vettes. Congrats to the new owners.
Mike, I had so much fun driving the Laguna Blue Z06 to the Bash. Planning to drive it to Panama City Beach on the 15th with the Circle City Corvettes Panama City Beach Caravan. I'm still impressed at how much fun this Z is, and the attention it gets on the road is still "Rock Star Status". Can't stop anywhere without drawing a crowd. So for all of the new owners........get ready for the attention.

Good question, but it looks more Midwestern to me.

I'm getting used to seeing some of the new colors.

Looks like the 2016 Long Beach Red is a tad darker than the C6 Monterey Red.

That throw back pic of the rail car with the C2's was...... hubcap city!!!

The '58 drive-by during one of your deliveries was a very nice photo op!

We will be watching the Bravo Channel this Tuesday out here on the West Coast for your mug on the tube, buddy boy.

Appears that you also sold both a Tahoe and a Suburban (headed to Florida via Plycar) in white. IF those are Pearlescent White and not the C7 "flat" white, tell G.M for all of us that they need to share the wealth and add that Pearlescent White on to the Corvette palette. Going back to at least 2006, Hyundai has offered that color choice, and Cadillac has had it for...... decades.

Nice pics once again, Mike.

Thanks again for the pics Mike. I stop by each week just to drool. Some day, some day......

BTW, that white C3 reminds me of my first Corvette. A 1975 L88. It was fun, but it was also an all day job to keep it on the road.
