Default The Stingray Is Really Made in China?

Who knew? It's a shame GM couldn't find a US source to make this little plastic fish that is so important to the Stingray.

Kinda sad. America's Sports Car. Parts made in China. I wonder what other countries? Sure hope the leather comes from US cows and not Chinese goats.

Meh. It's a global economy. Would you be willing to pay more, possibly way more, if all of the C7's parts were manufactured in the U.S?

It's certainly not important to my Stingray. They were taken off when I had Xpel installed. Never put them back on/won't put them back on.

Fact of the matter is that the Corvette is #1 Most American Made Car.

Actually I would be willing to pay more, not double but maybe 10% as long as the quality was high.

I guess if part of the car is made in China, I'd rather it be the little fish instead of the transmission. (which is probably made in Mexico)

Default Meh !

Don't look now, but the windshield wipers come from China too. Who cares ? Did you get on line and whine about your iPhone, shoes, etc coming from China ?

I paid $30 for a set of two. Shipping from China isn't cheap, I guess.

Never liked the fish emblems anyway. I think the design could have been better. Maybe more textures or Stingray details. One of my first mods was fish removal

Mine never made it back to TX from MD. They came off at the Comfort Inn when I stopped for the night.

Yea I figured I got screwed, I should have ordered it from Cultrag instead of over the Dealers parts counter.

I just received my splash guards from Cultrag. They too are made in China.

I wonder if Porsche or Ferrari farm anything out to China?

Installed Homelink Visor which was made in China. IF GM purchased only parts manufactured in the USA they could not complete a car to sell on. China has very low wages.
