Default List your problems with your 2014 or 2015 C7

Please list your problems with your 2014 or 2015 C7.........

After being on the Corvette Forum for about 6 months now, I continue to read many posts on the problems that 2014 & 2015 C7 owners are experiencing with their cars.

I thought it might be good for those owners who experience any kind of problems, glitches etc, be able to list them. It might help GM resolve some of these issues in the 2016 production year. Knowing what kind of problems have surfaced for C7 owners will help other C7 owners and bring awareness to the C7 builds.

Lets see if this thread goes anywhere.

Feel free to list your experiences and related problems. If you haven't had any problems, no need to report that.

We are looking for problem areas of the car and the build process.

I've been sitting in our 2015 A8 for over an hour right now in a parking lot without issues... Waiting on wife to get done shopping. 83 degrees outside... Trans temp under 200... Coolant temps 187. Alls good !! 1603 mile with zero issues

I think this thread was started with good intentions. NO car is perfect and I'm sure there is some aspect of every car that would be nice to change perhaps a little bit.

Only major problem is I have to stop myself from driving it too much and racking up too many miles.

#1. Vents do not blow cool air without A/C, even if outside temp is cool.

#2. Manual transmission is rather like Dante's 5th circle of hell, on occasion, in 5th -7th gear. Every car (not truck) I have ever owned has been a manual, and none were this ambiguous!

Love the car other than that!

Power steering rack. Needed complete replacement @ 150 miles. Now have 4000 miles, no issues since, no recalls.

My only issue is 11,500 miles is panel fitment. Specifically right rear quarter panel where it meets the rear fascia. Body shop had it 3x. Much better but will likely never be as good as it could be. Seems to be a common issue.

A/C tensioner needs to be replaced as its leaking. No big deal, has a warranty.

Reverse mirror tilt sucks.

A rattle that's kicking my tail behind the drivers seat.

So I'd say nothing really. Love the car.
