Default New Corvettes

While having my oil changed this morning at a dealership in Jacksonville I observed these new born corvettes being unloaded. Two were for John Hall Chev in Daytona Beach. All had black wheels with the Z51 pkg.

I see trucks just like this loaded down with nothing but new C7s (usually a few more than what's on this truck though) passing through my area of interstate 81 here in VA ALL THE TIME!!! I've never seen so many trucks loaded down with just one specific type of covered car in my life until the C7 came out. Now I have seen at least 3 trucks like this EVERY SINGLE WEEK pass through my area! I love that this car is so great that everybody wants one, but every time I see a truck like this it also makes me sad that exclusivity is starting to dwindle. Oh, and as a side note....Every truck also packs in the Z's last because they're always on the back!

Yup...for the 1st few months following C7 model introduction, I thought they all came with the ugly *** black wheels. Only later when I saw other alternatives did I become interested...

Good to see the C7 remaining so popular. Going to be some very happy new owners soon.

Gotcha. I was just in there the other day for my first experience with Chevrolet Service. I had the entertainment screen flicker pretty bad and they did a software update on 2 modules. So far it hasn't flickered any more. We'll see how it goes. Tom was my adviser and seemed like a pretty good guy, though it was hard to get him on the phone sometimes.

While I was waiting I was chatting with a new young sales guy and he said they had some coming in.

Are you a regular customer of that dealership? How has your experience(s) been?

They did some minor work on my C-6 and this was my first oil change for my C-7. They have two mechanics trained especially for the corvette; however, I haven't needed their assistance and hope I don't need them. I purchased my Impala from them and they have done some repairs on it and I have been pleased with their service. Most of their service writers seem to be above average when it comes to service writers.

See these on the Atlantic City Express Way on their way to Kerbeck's all the time. It's a cool site to see.
