Need recommendation for Central Jersey dealer to use for service
I bought my C7 from Kerbeck but they are too far to travel to for service. I live in Plainfield. Anyone have any recommendations based on experience. I really would not want to try the trial and error method of finding a good dealer to service my car and am looking for a recommendation. Thanks.

I've also bought a bunch of stuff from parts there and they are always willing to help and look things up for me to make sure i order the right parts...

just looked up what you were saying. some reviews were bad, but not what my experience was i would be careful going to oasis though if you decide on that. They did my harmonic balancer, and i thought they did a great job, and they were very nice, only to find out when i got home and inspected the rocker panels that they gashed the underside of the drivers rocker panel very badly. Not just one gash, but multiple in a 1 foot area... I was pretty upset cause i thought i found the trustworthy dealer i was looking for. No one will treat your car like you will, so i hope i never need a service on this car...

I know its half way to Kerbecks for you but John at Burlington Chevy has been doing the vetts there for over 20 years... I just took mine there for the first time... I give them an A plus

Living in Plainfield with a vette?! BRave man! ha
That being said, I wasn't a big fan of the dealer right next to you and I avoid them. A bit further up 22 near Bound Brook is better but still a pain in the rear sometimes. Going back to them tomorrow to re-do a wheel balance that seems off at speeds >70

I can tell you where not to go, Action Chevrolet in Freehold. My car was bought from MacMulkin, so going there for service was not an option. Here is my experience:
Me: Do you have a dedicated Corvette tech?
Service Writer: All our techs work on Corvettes, here is one now. (guy is walking toward desk)
Service writer to tech: Hey *****, you work on Vettes right?
Tech: I HATE working on F@#$%$ Corvettes!
Me: Bye
The dealership was just sold by the Pinebelt Group and did have a good Corvette tech named Kevin. They told me he left and did not know where he went. He was not in the Lakewood store.
So, I have the same issue, where do those of us in Central NJ bring our cars for competent service? I will not have this problem too much longer, moving to west coast of Florida next year and will use Stingray Chevrolet.

I bought my 2014 Z51 Convertible from Bridgewater Chevy (at the time it was a better deal than Kerbecks). They have given me very good service and they have a guy that specializes in Corvettes. I had a major engine warranty problem where they had to literally take apart the car, and they did a good job, and the car runs great. I've bought 5 new vehicles from this dealership and have been very satisfied with the service dept. over the years.

I am in the same position as well...I live in the Princeton area. I purchased from Kerbeck and had the first service done there, but really want to find someone closer. I had a good experience at Bridgewater on the sales side....they let me test drive a C7, then told me my best bet would be to go directly down to Kerbeck for what I was looking for. I appreciated their honesty...but again, that was the sales side. I did have service done on a previous Chevy at Flemington. Great experience, but do not know if they have a Corvette specialist.

I took my car in recently to Malouf Cadillac/Chevy in No Brunswick for the filler pipe recall and they were fine. Very professional and service tech seemed to know his stuff. If I ever need service again I'd probably bring it back to those guys.

Just an update from my earlier post. Came back from Bridgewater today and they took care of me with excellent customer service. The wheel balance done last week was slightly off in the front left wheel, which supposedly might have been caused by excess grease when they were mounting my tires. Anyway, yes it should have been perfect the first time but it's all set now. Would recommend them for CNJ service.

I work in Princeton. I service my car at Reedman in Langehorne which is not far from you. Ask for Tom to be your service person.
