I built my first Corvette in a Detroit basement when I was ....6 yrs old, well before I knew what ***** envy was. I purchased a full sized one when I was 20, too early for a mid-life crisis. I'm now 59 and I've never grown up!

Actually I don't mind the attention either! It's usually car guys that want to talk about cars and that is fine with me!

Im 39 married for 10 years and drive a TR 2015 Z06. I get wood when I drive over 3k rpm. Let the haters hate! I love when people look at me in my ride FYI. It's a f'ing sick gorgeous car!

And the 911 is any less of a "mid-life crisis" car? The only crisis is not being able to afford a Corvette when I was 30.

I just went to the store today and I saw the security guard in his golf cart say "Wow" as I passed by. At least that's what it looked like he said.

I think she secretly liked it too much, and that could lead to an infection....

I don't know where bloomberg found this girl to review this car but she seems like she has zero knowledge of cars. First Im 6,0 tall and I have zero problems with the height of the car( I have a convertible). The car does warm up fast especially compared to my diesel BMW but i fell this girl didn't even know how to adjust the temperature on the car. And anyone in New york knows the road she went on the ocean parkway where theres tons of bumps in the road. She be lucky if i take her for a ride in my corvette but she more KIA quality.

Stupid review - full of old ideas about Corvettes that have not really applied in years. She went to the cliche bin and dug out a bunch of tired old crap. Then she combined that with not knowing squat about cars and came up with a "review". Anyone who believes this BS deserves what they get.
I don't own one, but the C7 is simply one of the most desirable sports cars made today and compared to the competition it is a screaming bargain. A business news hack obviously does not understand - but then do we really care?

interesting
so what I find really interesting is the incredibly witty banter of all of the Corvette aficionados on this forum ...where you could never imagine Porsche owners talking like this. makes you wonder.

WGAS what she thinks.
By the way, 1:25 sure looks familiar. Robert Moses?
It's been almost 26 years since I seen that lighthouse. Boy do I miss Long Island.

Right-on!!...
The stigma of older men buying Corvettes to satisfy a mid life crisis is BS. That's the explanation women came up with because they don't understand the passion for these cars. Why not buy a 911, Audi or Mercedes? Because they are not American muscle car icons. And the reason middle aged and older men buy them is that we are not financially able to when we are younger. We're not trying to recapture our youth. We refuse to grow old!
