The other day,i am cruising along in drive and punch it to about 60 let off the gas and the engine is racing because the transmission acts like it is in 2nd gear.(3200rpm) Keeps doing this for almost 10 secs and finally shifts to the proper gear and revs come back to normal (1000 rpm). Every time i do this now the same thing happens. Any thoughts?

When you punch it the transmission goes into performance mode. What you experienced is normal. I have noticed it especially when in sport mode.

Try it in Touring, there it will act more like you're used too....

You have to be ready to go in sport or track lol....

Yes, the first time mine did it I thought what the H...? I drive in 'sport' a lot so always need to be mindful of that on the freeway if I choose to nail it when passing someone-it won't come down like you would expect.
