Railcar delivery - possible delays to Mira Loma, CA
Right now the car I ordered is apparently in Gibson, IN. Does anyone know know how long the wait for it to get to Mira Loma, CA might be? Or more importantly, will the flash flood warnings across the midwest right now delay freight movement along the rails?

No one knows a certain answer to either question but the Gibson railyard is a known bottleneck. The Chicago railyard used to be but since extensive road and rail reconstruction to reduce the slowness of passage thru Chicago the bottleneck moved East.
