Default Road Trip to Spring Mountain...and back

My wife and I took the drive out to the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain Performance Driving and saw quite a bit along the way. Had several weather changes along the way and our thoughts are with those in Texas and Oklahoma who lost so much with the floods.
My wife at first was hesitant when I mentioned the school over a year ago, but over time became more excited than nervous and was an active participant. I am so proud of her in doing it and happy that she enjoyed it.
Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did posting them.

More SM and the return trip. But for now the sun is coming out and it's time to go outside.

Very cool photos! Thanks for sharing. Night Race Blue Metallic is my wife's favorite Vette color. Your custom license plate is very clever, too.

Looks like our drives to Spring Mountain covered some of the same miles on I40. When did you go?

I love the plates also!

Very cool, a great road trip.

I canceled a business trip to Colorado because of their "Spring" snowstorm!

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun....and thanks for the pictures.

Btw....I love driving that stretch of I70 west of Denver....too bad I now live 1600 miles away!

Donald

Default Pdr??

Do all the cars have PDRs or should you bring a dask cam to record the sessions?

Seemed like the majority of the cars had PDR, however GoPro Cams can be used.

After first seeing this plate I tried to order it (also have a NRB Coupe) - not available in AZ. After approximately a dozen different attempts, DPBLUEC was approved!

Fantastic trip and great photos, thanks for sharing! Did you ship some luggage ahead or did you carry all with you? Thinking of a similar trip in October for me and my wife, but we have a Convertible. It was tough to pack all we needed for a week-end trip to the Bash in Bowling Green.

We have the Corvette luggage and still have room for a few odds and ends. Went to Glacier NP last year for a two week round tripper and the car held it all with no view restriction, or requiring double duty on the unmentionables.

Have fun and safe travels on your trip.

Default Part II

Williams, Arizona BluRay looking a little rough by now.

Arizona

Shamrock, Texas

Parked safely in the driveway, drove through torrential rain from Oklahoma through Missouri and Illinois and it handled it without a concern in 'W' I do like the Active Handling

Not bad for nine days with a couple of lay overs, eh?

A couple of happy humans. Thanks for all the kind comments and safe happy trails to all.
